How it works:

Our system is comprised of two major components, the upgraded helicopter, and the custom downlink camera pod. Together they become a powerful photographic tool. Two people are needed to operate this system. There are two separate radio controls, one for the helicopter, and the other for the camera pod. The pilot is responsible for placing the helicopter in position to take the pictures. The camera operator's responsibilities include directing the shoot, framing up the shots, and taking the pictures. The camera pod transmits a live video signal to the ground. This is what enables the camera operator to frame up the pictures as they are being taken. Finally, utilizing hands free wireless communication between the pilot and camera operator makes the whole picture taking process fast and efficient.
